2GFC believes discipleship should produce service. Christian faith should influence how we care for families, neighbors, and communities.
That work has included youth leadership development, family discipleship, community preparedness, partnerships including UALC, financial stewardship and education, entrepreneurship, service, and civic engagement.

Better prepared together
CEMS seeks to organize participating families into a coordinated network that develops relationships, knowledge, skills, preparedness, and shared capabilities before emergencies occur. The goal is to become better prepared, connected, equipped, trained, and able to recover.
A faithful complement
Community preparedness complements, rather than replaces, professional emergency services. It is a practical expression of stewardship, neighborly care, and responsible leadership.
Practical work beyond the church
ZenGee Financial is part of the broader practical work helping individuals, families, and business owners improve financial organization, stewardship, planning, and decision-making. It is distinct from 2GFC.
A history of civic involvement
Pastor Rodney LaBruce previously ran for the United States House of Representatives in Texas’s 30th Congressional District. The campaign has ended. It remains one factual example of a willingness to serve the broader community.
