Our Story
Second Generation Fellowship Church began in 2009 with approximately fifty visitors at its first service and great expectations for the future.
The journey did not unfold as expected. Through different seasons, we worshiped wherever doors opened: Cedar Hill College, a bakery, a daycare, a storefront, an aging church building in need of repair, our home, a shed, and eventually our home again.

Families came and went. Attendance declined. But the ministry continued. For seventeen years, 2GFC has kept preaching the Gospel, discipling believers, praying with families, encouraging people, developing leaders, and serving the community.
Buildings change. The mission does not. We learned to measure success by faithfulness: continuing to build disciples, strengthen families, and transform communities through every season.
We value organization and systems because excellence requires intentionality, efficiency requires organization, and faithfulness requires preparation. Systems serve people and ministry. They do not replace relationships or dependence on God.
